Descriptive Resource Details

Descriptive Details can be entered for each resource. The following descriptors are common to all resources.

Name is a descriptor that typically corresponds to the name or title of the resource.
Resource Type determines how the resource is displayed. An IMAGE is displayed differently than text.
Access Level determines who is able to view the resource. Levels can be ADMIN, used by the administrators of the collections, STAFF used by the library staff who may also maintain the collection, PUBLIC used by the registered patrons of the library, and EXTENDED PUBLIC used by unregistered users, who might access the catalog from the Internet.
Resource ID is the uniform resource locator, or file name, for the resource.
Description is a free text field that is used to describe the resource.

Additional fields may also display. The fields that display are dependent upon the Resource Type.
